YUEN LONG TOWN PARK

Opened in 1991, this park is dominated by a pagoda which incorporates an aviary. As part of the BCP Hong Kong design team, Gavin formulated the basic concept of the tall pagoda contrasting dramatically with the adjacent wooded ravine. This park is unusual in Hong Kong in that it has extensive grassy slopes resulting in a remarkably informal and relaxed atmosphere.
